Wike Gives Contractors Three-Day Ultimatum to Clear Satellite Towns Refuse

Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has given contractors a three-day ultimatum to clear refuse in satellite towns or face contract termination. The directive follows an inspection of road projects in Karu, Bwari, Kubwa, and the Apo-Karshi road corridor in Abuja, where Wike expressed concern over growing heaps of refuse.

Wike directed the FCT Satellite Towns Development Department Coordinator, Abdulkadir Zulkiflu, to ensure full compliance with the directive, warning that failure to do so would result in job termination. This move is part of ongoing efforts to restore environmental cleanliness in the FCT ¹ ² ³.
